Passion for cinema
Hi! I’m Matt Tommy Knook, an American and Dutch filmmaker. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Cinema and a minor in Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). My passion for creative storytelling began after moving to America, where I faced language challenges and turned to filmmaking as a way to express myself.
Experience
My passion for filmmaking began when I was a young kid, producing short films with my little brother. Since then, I've grown and participated in multiple filmmaking courses. I've worked on over two dozen film projects, ranging from student films to 48-hour film competitions and commercial work. Additionally, I love flying my drone and capturing exciting B-roll while traveling.
