Group of young people outdoors, smiling and standing in front of a cityscape with various buildings, including a historic dome. Some are wearing casual clothing, and there is a woman working on a laptop at a table nearby. The scene appears to be at a social gathering or event.

Producer & Treasurer

New Surge Productions

I have a keen eye both on and off screen. For three years, I've served as Treasurer and Producer for New Surge Productions, helping bring student stories to the screen.

As Producer, my most recent project is How to Live in Living Rooms — a short film I'm proud to have shepherded from the ground up. I've also served as Director of Photography on Maladaptive, where I developed the shot list and lighting plan and led a five-person camera team. Additional credits include What's Cooking, where I worked as 1st AC and Grip.

On How to Live in Living Rooms, I led a crew of 34 — coordinating transportation and housing for the cast, negotiating location contracts for a restaurant location, and managing the budget. Beyond logistics, I kept crew morale high and ensured every production challenge was addressed quickly and without disruption.

Cinematographer

As Cinematographer on Maladaptive, I headed the Camera and G&E department, leading a crew of five. We captured over three hours of footage on the Sony FX3, incorporating an anamorphic lens for the film's dream sequences. Visually, I built the film's language through color-vibrant, saturated tones during the dance sequences and a cool green palette for the bathroom fight scene, each choice serving the story.
