Richmond On 35mm Film
For this project, I explored the full analog photography process from capture to final negative. I shot two rolls of 35mm film, approaching each frame with intention in terms of composition, light, and narrative. After shooting, I developed both rolls myself, carefully controlling each step of the chemical process to achieve the tonality and contrast I envisioned. This hands-on workflow allowed me to better understand the technical and creative possibilities of film, and gave me complete authorship over the final imagesβfrom the moment of exposure to the finished negatives.
